Pending changes reviewer

(add requestview requests)

User:Kunalforyou

I have gained Rollback permission on 3 May 2015 and it has been 6 weeks since I'm using it. I believe that if I am given the Pending Changes Reviewer right, I will contribute to the process of reviewing articles placed under pending changes. KunalForYou ☎️📝 15:52, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I now active in English Wikipedia. --Դեմ խմբակային իշխանությանը (talk) 12:17, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done, your edits show that you still do not have enough experience for this user permission. Please take some time to become more experienced with the project and feel free to request again later. Nakon 21:47, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Nakon, one question: What is a border of edits. --Դեմ խմբակային իշխանությանը (talk) 22:01, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User:Acone

I have recently contributed to and discussed several contentious articles, and in the process, I have learned a lot about wikipedia policies and culture. I think I have a clear idea of what is and is not appropriate content, and I am confident I can apply that judgment tactfully. For example, I recently removed inappropriate content at Dagga Party and participated in an RfC on Talk:Ludwig_Wittgenstein. I have a reverence for Wikipedia bordering on religiosity, and I will be careful with any Wikipedia privileges I get. Acone (talk) 00:48, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Unfortunately, you only have a handful of recent edits to the article namespace which suggests that you may not have enough experience at this time. As per the guidelines, editors need "enough edits that a track record can be established.". Please take some time to edit more articles and feel free to request again later. I have been Editing Wikipedia since a long time and am now wishing to Upgrade my Status. I already spend a fair amount of effort checking recent edits. I have developed a good understanding of all the relevant wikipedia articles and have read the guideline on reviewing. I have also helped edit many pages, and continuously update them in the Current Situation. With High Hopes and Ambitions I hope to become a Pending Changes Reviewer. Josu4u (talk) 20:57, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, Wikipedia is not an MMORPG. A user's "status" is not upgraded based on these permissions. Nakon 21:50, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Was granted rollback rights a couple of weeks ago without requesting, based on my apparent helpful contributions in spotting and reverting vandalism. I feel like I have considerable ability to clearly distinguish between helpful contributions and disruptive edits, thus making me feel that I can use the pending changes review access responsibly. Azealia911 talk 22:32, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment From what I've seen in article deletion discussions, noticeboard discussions, and talk page discussions, I'm not convinced Azealia has the experience , policy knowledge, and WP:COMMONSENSE needed for this permission. Maybe after more time -- the user has been here barely 4 months. An admin may, however, disagree and see wiki-maturity that I don't. -- WV 02:31, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Winkelvi, sorry to hear you feel that way. Could you possibly give some examples of times I have not been able to distinguish vandalism from helpful edits? It's just that as far as I can remember, I've never participated in a noticeboard discussion, let alone displayed improper policy knowledge and lack of common sense at one. While the only times we've ever crossed paths in delete discussions/talk page discussions, as to my immediate knowledge anyway, are a minor dispute on a sentences word structure, in which we interpreted it in two different ways, and that time I stupidly voted to delete an article, days after supporting it's upgrade to FL status, during the infamous witch-hunt of MaranoFan. It should however be noted that they were the first times I'd contributed to an AfD and a FLC. Sure, it may show that I need/needed to brush up on policies regarding deleting articles and FL criteria, but I fail to see how this hinders my judgement on identifying and stopping vandalism from reaching protected pages. As for your mention of my time here on wikipedia, I see nothing about criteria on receiving these rights based on a time criteria, unless I've missed it somewhere, as opposed to rights like Template Editor or Autopatrolled, which state guidelines that should generally met before applying, in order to optimize success levels. Azealia911 talk 06:50, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Done. It appears to me that as a productive editor in good standing who has already been entrusted with rollback there shouldn't be an issue. The bar for reviewer is not high and to suggest someone lacks the common sense to perform this simple task borders on insulting. Azealia appears to have plenty of "wiki-maturity" particularly for a "new" editor. Swarm we ♥ our hive 23:08, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've been editing Wikipedia articles for nearly seven years, have established a history of serious contributions, can easily distinguish between vandalism and legitimate edits but can't accept such edits on pending-changes articles without this right. Would find it convenient to be able to do this kind of housekeeping when I come upon it. Thanks for considering my request. KDS4444Talk 00:33, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Although I'm a student, I always work on making my edits acceptable and progressive. I made some huge changes on some articles, recreating them in every way possible. I also make sure that the pages that I edit reach at least the "C" class. I created many pages without many references, but I managed to make every edit that I do sourced and trustworthy. It has been 2 years and 3 months since I joined and till now I have over 410 edits... But, the edits are about the quality of them. I'm currently working on improving more than 10 articles, but I prefer to make the changes and review it very carefully before I click the (Save page) button. I'd hope that my edits and hard work could be rewarded with this permission.. Thank you. Hashima20 (talk) 00:41, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Was granted Rollback when I was starting out on Wikipedia and have used it to battle vandalism with Huggle since then. I'd like to move onto processing articles under pending changes. Cheers, E. Lee (talk) 14:02, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting pending changes reviewer rights Arcticgriffin (talk) 18:56, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am a very active editor of the Wikipedia community and have made approximately 550 edits since February, although I have been editing occasionally for many years prior. I mainly contribute to reality television articles (e.g., American Idol, American Ninja Warrior, Dancing with the Stars, etc.) and often find that there are numerous pending changes awaiting review, and I would like to be the one to accept/deny them. I have created multiple pages and often check the new pages feed. My main focus is to increase the amount of facts and statistics in articles with credible sources. Thank you for reading my request. If given this right, I will be able to quickly approve useful edits, and help keep articles up to date. Iamahashtag (talk) 19:28, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
