Piranshahr County (Persian: شهرستان پیرانشهر) is a county in West Azerbaijan Province, in Iran. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 107,677; there were 20,617 families.[1] Piranshahr County is subdivided into two districts, Central District and Lajan District, and has two cities: the county capital Piranshahr and Gerd Kashaneh.
