Siya Ke Ram is a mythological TV series on Star Plus directed by Nikhil Sinha under the banner of Triangle Films,[1]: 9 The show features Ashish Sharma and Madirakshi Mundle playing as Lord Rama and Sita.[1]: 6 The show premiered on 16 November 2015 on Star Plus.[1]: 2
Plot
The series Siya Ke Ram will showcase the story of Rama and Sita. The main plot is taken from the Hindu epic Ramayana which has been penned by Valmiki. The show will chronicle the journey of Ram and Sita. Contrary to popular depictions of the Ramayana from Rama's perspective, this show will highlight the story through Sita's eyes.[2]

Story
Janak is the King of Mithila.He is childless.His Kingdom Mithila has drought for 12 years.Elsewhere Ram and his brothers are under tutelage of Guru Vashist.Janak builds a golden sickle and unearths a baby girl as he begins to plough. The boby's firt cry leads to rainfall. Janak wants to be ensured if the baby has a family or not.He is shocked to see baby lifts the Shiv Dhanush. Rishi Yagyavalak suggests to keep the baby.Janak decided to name her Sita.
