Music from the Film More (often referred to simply as More) is Pink Floyd's first full-length film soundtrack. The album actually comprises re-recordings of music used in the film, often in very different form.
The film More was directed by Barbet Schroeder.
This is also Pink Floyd's first album without founding member Syd Barrett, who was ousted from the group in early 1968 during recording of their previous album, A Saucerful of Secrets.
Music from the Film More reached #9 in the UK and - upon re-release in 1973 - #153 in the US.
In 1987, the album was re-released on CD. A digitally re-mastered CD was released in 1995 in the UK and 1996 in the US.
