Amoris laetitia (Latin for The Joy of Love) is the post-synodal apostolic exhortation by Pope Francis. Dated 19 March 2016, it was released on 8 April 2016. It follows the Synods on the Family held in 2014 and 2015.[a]

To accompany the release of the text in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, the Vatican Press Office has scheduled a panel including Cardinal Christoph Schönborn O.P., Archbishop of Vienna, Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri, Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops, and a married couple, Francesco Miano, lecturer of moral philosophy at Rome’s University of Tor Vergata and Giuseppina De Simone in Miano, lecturer of philosophy at the Theological Faculty of Southern Italy in Naples.[1]
