Source interpretation

Hello,

I noticed the article about Battle of Ulqin. Thank you for creation of the article on this topic.

In this article you wrote:

  • "The battle however sparked a debate in Europe which raised the question regarding the Albanian question"

You supported this assertion with two citations. I checked both of them, and I could not find that any of them support the above assertion. They actually almost do not mention the battle of Ulcinj, nor they give it the kind of importance presented in the above sentence. Will you please be so kind to present quotes from two sources you used to cite above assertion.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 19:54, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for removing (diff) assertion you added based on the misinterpretation of two sources. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 21:00, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
There was no misinterpretation, I have found one single ref but when writing article I placed two other sources by mistake. I will find the ref again and add assertion. During this time I thought it is better to have text removed than tagged with "citation needed". I hope you don't have any problem with it. Ktrimi991 (talk) 18:51, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Of course not. Everybody make mistakes. Gezuar.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 14:45, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Balkan topics are covered by discretionary sanctions under WP:ARBMAC

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding the Balkans, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Template:Z33 EdJohnston (talk) 15:45, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

After narrowly avoiding a block for personal attacks on 4 September, as of 11 September you are busy edit-warring at Albania. Be aware that you can be banned from editing about Albania or Albanians under the discretionary sanctions if you show no sign of waiting for consensus. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 17:29, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
EdJohnston An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page—whether involving the same or different material—within a 24-hour period. An edit or a series of consecutive edits that undoes other editors' actions—whether in whole or in part—counts as a revert. Violations of the rule often attract blocks of at least 24 hours. Fourth reverts just outside the 24-hour period may also be taken as evidence of edit-warring, especially if repeated or combined with other edit-warring behavior. I reverted another editor's edit twice and asked to take their concerns to the talk. Then the editor explained on the talk why they believe Mother Teresa's image should be removed from article. I can't understand why do you see problems here, I am not "busy edit-warring at Albania", I just undid unexplained edit twice. Your comment here, although with aim to help me, was really unhelpful and unpleasant. Thank you, best regards! Ktrimi991 (talk) 17:41, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kosovo 2015 games

Thanks for this correction. I totally discarded the year 2015 and assumed the event to somehow be in the future still. --OJ (talk) 14:56, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your edit OJ! No one had noticed article needed update expect of you. I try to edit as much as I can during my limited free time and because of this sometimes I make mistakes. That is why Wikipedia needs as many editors as possible, to help and assist each other. Best regards! Ktrimi991 (talk) 17:44, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Old City Hammam (Mitrovica), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mitrovica (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Edit war

Please note that I am not in any sort of edit war, but am constantly being followed around by a very obsessive and very biased editor (Zoupan), who reverts any of my attempts which try to break away from the Serbian nationalist propaganda that is systematically being spewed on any Montenegro-related articles. Please try to understand the issue before threatening me with suspensions, I've been here for ten years and am well aware of the rules, but will not back down from trying to put facts in articles just because there is an other side which is utterly wrong, but also very loud and persistent. Cheers. Sideshow Bob 07:31, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sideshow Bob! I warned both Zoupan and you and I suggest you discuss the matter talk page. I don't see a single source within article to support Zoupan and Anastan. By the way which Montenegro-related articles do you see are mostly vandalised? I would have a look on them and help to find consensus. If possible sent me a list via email [1]. Best regards! Ktrimi991 (talk) 20:00, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

BLP

I noticed that you added text in which you described a living person as nationalist (diff). I propose you to reword the sentence you added to refer to author's book, not to him personally. All the best.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 23:09, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Warning-bombing

I would kindly ask you to stop warning-bombing my talk page. If you would care to know how things are done here on WP, the category-removal needs to be explained on the talk, and not the other way around. The article is reliably sourced.--Zoupan 05:10, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Don't edit war in multiply articles. Ktrimi991 (talk) 21:10, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Serbian historiography

Hi,

I noticed you removed text with multiple citaions (diff) with the following excuse: "see Serbian historiography". The ethnicity of authors is, of course, an invalid reason for removal of cited text. Please revert yourself.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 22:22, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Antidiskriminator, the ethnicity of authors is an invalid reason but the unreliability of the Serbian historiography of that period is a very valid reason. Isn't this [2] a part of WP:NPA#WHATIS? Report yourself. Ktrimi991 (talk) 00:10, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I noticed you again removed cited text with ethnicity based arguments (diff) and (diff). I already explained you that ethnicity of authors is, of course, an invalid reason for removal of cited text. Please don't repeat such actions.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 20:03, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The reason was explained to you by multiply editors. Don't repeat your refusal to take the point. Ktrimi991 (talk) 21:57, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You were explained more than once that ethnicity based excuses for removal of cited text is invalid and that you should seek consensus at RSN instead. This edit (diff) is an example that instead to follow wikipedia rules you opted to refuse to get the point. That is not constructive. Will you please be so kind to revert yourself and seek consensus at RSN for your position.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 22:41, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Community of Serb Municipalities

OR. The boycott doesn't make them automatically with a Serb majority. Some of municipalities have Albanian mayors. WP:OR?? Isn't it obvious that the Community of Serb Municipalities will only include Serb-majority municipalities? That is the whole purpose. Do you have any reliable sources that the association will include municipalities that don't have a Serb majority? In 2013 ECMI calculated the Serb community numbers — all included municipalities indeed have Serb majority (61–99%). I'm very curious about the Albanian mayors, inform me.--Zoupan 22:46, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Our Lady of Ljeviš

The native name is Serbian. Богородица Љевишка is in Serbian. This is the native name. "Kisha e Shën Premtës" is not the native name, but an Albanian translation (with 0 hits on Gbooks). As far as I know, the Serbian Orthodox Church does not use Albanian as a liturgical language, and there are no Orthodox Albanians in Prizren. The infobox has the parameters native name and sr. Don't. The Albanian name is already in the lead.--Zoupan 12:36, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring at Banja, Skenderaj

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The full report is at the edit warring noticeboard. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 03:26, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi EdJohnston! I do not you or someone else to unblock me. No! I know what to do, just say "I will be more careful next time" and that is all. But No! An IP reverted my edits and disrupted my talk page. Materialscientist and Jim1138 reverted them. The IP was blocked and Jim1138 warned me they would attack me again. Minutes later another IP reverted me [3]. Some minutes later Anastan warned me. I am not filing a SPI because Anastan is becoming redundant and I do not want to give them much attention. An editor who constantly calls me and my work with unpleasant and inappropriate words and who comes after me all the time (one has just to see their history) is not the right person to collaborate with. However I do not plan to give them attention. I have seen numerous situations where editors from the Balkans, including me, have reverted each other (even edit war) but no report in the end. Do you know why EdJohnston? Because the Balkans topics are considered "hot" topics and sometimes people lose their nerve for a moment. And when your work is attacked my more than one IP you may not do your best. Moreover we are human beings EdJohnston. An editor who extensively works on such "hot" topics could be at least let to justify their actions. In the last months numerous experienced editors who have been important to the Balkans topics have said "Ciao" to Wikipedia. The most important factor is arguably the admins with their actions or lack of actions. What I want from you is to be as careful as you can when interacting with new editors keen on the Balkans topics. They are so few editors active that most of the articles have not been changed for months and years. I consider this block a period of time given to me to prepare new stuff. I am planning to give a new face to articles on settlements of Kosovo. If you are interested help me, if not at least think twice before you interrupt my editing process. Have a nice day EdJohnston and let me know there is a discussion concerning my actions before you act in a rush! Ktrimi991 (talk) 12:51, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
There was not ethnic warring. We don use alternative names of cities of Kosovo on village articles. There are some agreements which must be respected. You said I warred on Albanian versus Serbian names at Our Lady of Ljeviš; everything was discussed on the talk. I see these childish mistakes. See my edits in numerous articles, they are being reverted by various IP. Is not this a problem? Ktrimi991 (talk) 12:59, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
