Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Gett Off are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Glam Slam, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Muhandes (talk) 20:46, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. I have removed the review you put on the Prince talk page with this edit. This is not appropriate content for an article talk page. See Help:Using talk pages and WP:NOTAFORUM. The text you created is still available here if you wish to put it somewhere else NOT on Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:User pages#What may I not have in my user pages? If you have any questions about this, let me know by using {{Reply to|Richard-of-Earth}} in your reply on this page. Richard-of-Earth (talk) 08:51, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mind if I put it on my own talk page?Mrakd002.302 (talk) 13:15, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I mind, but I would probably will not do anything about it. I have better things to do then police user pages. Wikipedia:User pages#What may I not have in my user pages? states that "Writings, information, discussions, and activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals" do not belong on any of your user pages and that adds up to not anywhere on Wikipedia. So per policy, it should not be here. All that said, you could probably get away with it once. If you get excessive in using your user pages for storing your personal thoughts, somebody who cares will notice, get your account blocked for mis-using Wikipedia and delete your pages. A better solution is to put your thoughts on one of the many free blog sites out there and just put a link to it on your user page. Richard-of-Earth (talk) 18:01, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have blanked the page without explanation.Xx236 (talk) 10:29, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That the article is in your opinion "poorly formed" is not a reason for speedy deletion. Valid reasons (as well as information on how to properly format a speedy deletion request) can be found at WP:SD.
If the article does not qualify for speedy deletion, you would need to take the article through the Articles for deletion process, outlined at WP:AFD.
Looking at the article, I can't really see what you feel is so wrong with the article that it should be deleted. Articles on clearly notable subjects (such as this song) are rarely deleted for reasons other than possible legal concerns (e.g. WP:BLP or copyright infringement). Generally, we prefer to improve the article.
Right now, the article could certainly use sources and some more in-depth info but it seems to be a decent stub otherwise. - SummerPhDv2.0 13:54, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Two editors have reverted your unnecessary commentary at Purple Rain (film). This is not what a plot section is for. Stop WP:edit warring. - Gothicfilm (talk) 21:09, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
