Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Donnybrook, County Cork requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Hiya. Couple of quick things.
In this series of edits to the Shandon article, you added an uncited statement that "Shandon Street" is the "main street of Cork's northside". Can you provide a supporting reference for this? Also, I'm not what was intended with the gallery entry, but Wikipedia's gallery and image syntax doesn't support the inclusion of externally hosted images.
In this series of edits to the Douglas article, you removed cited text that had been subject to consensus discussion on the talk page. Can you add a note to the talk page to explain your thoughts on why it shouldn't be included? In the meantime, please take a quick glance at the project's related policies. Including IDONTLIKEIT and IDIDNTHEARTHAT.
If there's anything I can do to help (with syntax, inclusion criteria or project norms), please do feel free to drop me a note.
Cheers. Guliolopez (talk) 22:54, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hiya. Please don't remove cited content or engage in edit-warring. It is not in keeping with project norms to ignore consensus discussions (at least 3 other contributors have advocated a merge of the Donnybrook content to the Douglas article), to ignore requests for engagement (myself and several others have left notes on your talkpage and article talkpages which have not been responded to), and to make changes unilaterally (in conflict with those contributions from others). Please do read WP:EDITWAR, and - as above - please drop a note on my talkpage, the article talkpage, or your own talkpage here. And we can try and address whatever concern it is that you have with that content and approach. Guliolopez (talk) 08:30, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
Donnybrook
Hi - thanks for your edit to Donnybrook. I've amended it slightly so the entry points to an article in which Donnybrook is mentioned (MOS:DAB). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 05:13, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Douglas Village Shopping Centre
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Douglas Village Shopping Centre requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Donnybrook (2)
I note the other material on this page regarding your edits and the notice immediately above this section. However, in another activity, you edited Donnybrook, a disambiguation page. I reverted the edit and told you in the edit summary and at the "Donnybrook" section above that a disambiguation page entry must refer to an article in which the term appears. The layout of disambiguation pages is set out here Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Disambiguation pages and this particular rule is here MOS:DABMENTION. You made 5 edits to Donnybrook the eventual effect of which was, again, to create a Wikipedia:Red link entry (with a punctuation error in it). I have reverted your 5 edits. Blanchardstown
Since you added the statistics and claims in the "Demographics" section, surely you can just tell us where they came from? We can easily help format them as references. The claims are so specific that you must have read them somewhere? Just point us to where, and we'll see if it's an WP:RS that can be included.
I don't know what you were trying to do with the malformed link to a wikipedia page, so I removed that. You can't use wikpedia as a reference - not that what you tried to link was relevant anyway, Blanchardstown isn't mentioned at all there, never mind the comparisons you made in the article. Please read WP:RS (that's a link - just click on it.) Thanks. -- Begoon 09:14, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
The Irish section or on white flight RTE — Preceding unsigned comment added by JackW436 (talk • contribs) 09:25, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- Yes - I know what you tried to link. Read what I said again. I think I'm reaching the same conclusions as above - you either don't have the competence to edit here, or you're deliberately making no attempt. -- Begoon 09:34, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- If nobody minds, I'm just going to step in here, because I think I know where the mistake lies. That White flight section mentions Dublin 15, which is Fingal, but if you actually just search "Dublin 15", for some reason, Google provides a map of Blanchardstown Shopping Centre! I think this editor simply saw that and made an assumption.
- However, you're right in stating that at no point does that source/article state that it is the least ethnically white place in Ireland, it simply makes an example of an area experiencing a rapid influx of foreign migrants.
- Hopefully this helps! Wasechun tashunkaHOWLTRACK 09:46, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- It helps me understand why it was linked, thanks for that. It doesn't lessen the frustrating communication issues much though. If we cannot communicate we cannot function. Obviously it still doesn't support the content, and reading through the whole history here I do see some worrying signs that there's something of an ongoing issue which isn't improving. This kind of thing wastes a lot of volunteer time.
- JackW436, can you please answer my initial questions:
- (a) Where did you get the statistics (percentages) you added - please link to the source for that.
- (b) Where does the statement you added: Blanchardstown has one of the highest percentage of Foreigners in the Country and the Lowest percentage of White Irish come from?
- --(If you wrote that statement solely based on that latter, linked section, at White flight, please also read WP:RS, WP:OR and WP:SYNTH, and tell me if you then understand why that's not ok.)--
- Thanks. -- Begoon 10:26, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
I have collected this data on airo (All-Island Research Observatory) - http://airo.maynoothuniversity.ie/external-content/fingal - and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzNy0F4pwJ8 - — Preceding unsigned comment added by JackW436 (talk • contribs) 12:13, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- Ok, for the 'airo' stuff that at least tells us where you got the numbers. Is the only way to do that on that site to pull up each "ethnic/cultural" group population individually for each of the 8 Blanchardstown divisions, and then manually add them together and derive percentages from those totals, or is there a way to get a table showing all the figures at once? Even if manually is the only way it's probably a simple enough calculation that we could use that as a source without it being WP:OR -- Begoon 12:49, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- I'm going offline for today - I'll check back here tomorrow. I'd still like to know how you arrived at "Blanchardstown has one of the highest percentage of Foreigners in the Country and the Lowest percentage of White Irish". I didn't watch the whole video but if that's just a quote from a reporter on a YouTube video of a TV news report, I think we'd probably need something better and more reliable before we decided whether such a statement was WP:DUE or not. -- Begoon 13:06, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hi. While we are waiting for your responses, the material has been removed from the article, per consensus at Talk:Blanchardstown#Demographics section. Take as much time as you need with your clarifications - there is no WP:DEADLINE. If you can describe the calculations you did on the numbers from the 'airo' site, I'll see if I can replicate your results. If you need any other help, just ask. Thanks. -- Begoon 09:57, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
The Data which I have collected was from http://census.cso.ie/sapmap/, http://airo.maynoothuniversity.ie/external-content/fingal in which I calculated the 8 EDs Together

Request reason:
Your reason here I should be unblocked for which I face heavy criticism for my religious background,in which I didn't appreciate at the time and felt very Angry for Which the Wasechun tashunka quotes Catholics are not the official religion of Ireland and other Insulting Comments which offend me easily,Therefore The Block should be lifted the Investigate whether Wasechun tashunka ,promotes anymore hate in which I will Keep Involved and we will settle this dispute ,In which no Bad comments are Received
Decline reason:
None of this addresses your own conduct, unless you are trying to argue that your religion commands you to misrepresent others and to engage in personal attacks. If you're offended by the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution of Ireland, I suggest you complain to the Irish people who accepted it in a referendum. Huon (talk) 22:30, 9 September 2017 (UTC)

ANI
You opened the (main) thread yourself, so this is perhaps not required. However, as your misrepresentations have resulted in a reversal of the ANI focus, you should be aware of the ANI (sub) thread - which discusses an issue with which you may be involved. - As you are currently blocked and can not take part in that ANI discussion, if you have any comments you want to make please feel free to post them here and I (or someone else) will be happy to copy them over for you. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:27, 10 September 2017 (UTC)
