Confirmed

I would like to upload an image but my account is not autoconfirmed. How do I do about that? Nino Waino (talk) 07:22, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - If the file you want to upload is available under a free license, it should be uploaded to our free media repository, the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload there, and you can use the same username and password you use here. If it is not available under a free license, it should be requested using the Files for Upload process, which does not require any special permissions. I am attempting to add some additions to the wikipedia page of my boss, all information will be well cited and confirmable.

I believe I have somehow lost my autoconfirmed status...even though I am autopatrolled. What's going on? TheWarOfArt (talk) 19:57, 17 October 2017 (UTC) TheWarOfArt (talk) 19:57, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The bad grammar on some of the pages I tend to surf just bother the heck out of me. I would just like to correct them. Furred 22:09, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
Done (expiry in 1 week) note, on your next edit you will become autoconfirmed. — xaosflux Talk 00:13, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I would simply like to be able to help out with the project, and this is one more way I think I can contribute. I have been editing for quite some time and feel I have a pretty good grasp not only of Wikipedia policy, but also of general encyclopedic quality.Thank you! @Pl98: go to Special:Preferences, look at the line that says "Member of groups:" it should have Autoconfirmed Users, Users for you. — xaosflux Talk 13:19, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
