  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Killed or Seriously Injured has been reverted.
Your edit here to Killed or Seriously Injured was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (http://www.davidpublisher.org/Public/uploads/Contribute/56404f024b060.pdf) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

Hello, I do not understand:
  • The contribution added information missing.
  • I have remove the linked by referenced and copied the begin of the document instead (including a DOI). There is a tool which can transform a link in a properly and standardized layout (title, author, and so on ...) that's why a believe a link is better.
  • You did not say why \bdavidpublisher\.org\b) is/are on your list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia? Anyway by probably I understand that you mean that in fact you do not know.
  • this does not let me know if you agree with the document or not...

Control copyright icon Hello 77.193.104.227, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Killed or Seriously Injured have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:57, 19 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm KGirlTrucker81. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Moped, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! Re: 77

[edit]

It's okay. I understand from where your idea came from. Admittedly, the info you gave is very accurate (Yes, my country very much does have a problem regarding road accidents; it's considered an epidemic by public health officials), and adding an assessment about road safety issues in an article about something that involves a vehicle causing a violent incident is a reasonable idea, an opinion at least one other editor (InedibleHulk) does share (in fact, he was the one who made me re-evaluate all this and realize that). My only issues were with the way you put them on the table originally, so to speak. With all that being said, it would be convenient to wait until reliable sources reach a conclusion that connects road safety to this event.
