G'day!

[edit]

G'day there, Anglicant, and welcome to Wikipedia! Good authors are always welcome on the project, and I hope you like the place and decide to stick around!

Sometimes new editors find it useful to review our "five pillars", all you need to know about editing in "wiki markup", or this detailed tutorial. The stuff we all really need to know is best summed up here: write from a neutral point of view, play nice with others, and don't let the rules get you down. If you have any questions or need any help, my talkpage is always open for business, or you can see Wikipedia:Newcomers help page. Here's a tip to start you off: if you type four tildes (~~~~) at the end of any messages you leave on talkpages (like this one) Wikipedia will automatically insert your name and the current date and time after your message. Cool, eh?

By the way, I'm going to take a punt in the dark and say you're Australian. If so, excellent! Aussies make good Wikipedians (yes, oh yes, we do). You may be interested in Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board, where Australian Wikipedians occasionally meet to try to help coordinate our efforts. Again, welcome to the project, and happy editing! fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 03:03, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unhelpful and unconstructive information to Wikipedia, as you did to St. Andrew's Cathedral, Sydney. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. JRG 01:09, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Anglican Diocese of Sydney, you will be blocked from editing. JRG 02:55, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

G'Day!

[edit]

Hello Anglicant! Are you still around? Are you still fighting your lone and seemingly pointless battle? Join the club! ....I know where there is a long and boring white paling fence that you could take out your frustration on....

I'm an architectural historian, so I wrote the cathedral article very much from that point of view.

About images- images are put in place with the bracketted title XimageX:stairs|size|The stairs to the chapter house. The part that says XimageX:stairs links to a stored file at another location..

The name of the image sometimes doesn't relate to the subject matter very welll and may sometimes be completely inaccurate. But it cannot be change without losing the picture. I other words, if you change XimageX:stairs|.... to XimageX:Chapter house stairs|.... then there is no longer a picture. One can edit the title of the picture, but not the file name.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Marrickville Council, you may be blocked from editing. WWGB (talk) 12:06, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Australian Greens, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. WWGB (talk) 12:06, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
