Euroleague stat table

Hi! Please, review your work and study more on how to present a valid information before hitting "save" button. Here are some of the notes when you import stats from the Euroleague.net website on wikipedia:

  • FG% - make a sum of 2PM and 3PM and then divide it by the sum of 2PA and 3PA. Then, you'll get true FG%;
  • Stay concentrated when imputing BPG (it is left of FPG);
  • Minutes per game - if in stats you see for example 14:51, that means 14 minutes and 51 seconds. You don't have 100 seconds in minute, so you need to divide seconds with 60, to get true decimal number for MPG;
  • If you see for example 13 PPG, add in table 13.0 PPG for better visual presentation;
  • Career PIR and MPG - One of the ways, count total minutes / PIR player had in every season and divide them by number of games player played in his career to get true career MPG and PIR respectively;

Thanks!--AirWolf talk 00:08, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Very nice work, you got it now, keep going. I really really aperciate your work. If you have some free extra time, please update Euroleague statistics for even more players.--AirWolf talk 11:00, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

I just saw that you cropped one of my photos and created a specific photo of Murphy Holloway. That was very cool and pleasing to see! And then I saw that you write articles about players in our Israeli basketball league. Keep up!!! HaGamal 19:30, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Isaac Rosefelt, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page St. Thomas Tommies (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:43, 1 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nick Faust

It still might be good to mention he signed the deal, even if he never played in Russia. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 16:47, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Israeli Basketball Premier League Discovery of the Year a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:18, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplaces

Just a note, but RealGM.com and eurobasket.com are not reliable sources for birthplace for American basketball players. These sites take the “hometown” field of college biographies and use it as “birthplace.” Hometown isn’t birthplace, it’s just where the player lives at the time of the bio. As a result of this practice, these sites routinely get place of birth wrong and can’t be used. I deleted place of birth for Marquis Wright (basketball) for this reason. College bios often (but not always) list place of birth at the bottom (in a “personal” section). Other typically reliable sources are USABasketball.com and Basketball-reference.com if the player played in the NBA. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 15:13, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
