Just asking, are you from SGtrains? 1.02 editor (talk) 07:42, 26 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Over cash top-up section

Mind you, could you explain the necessity of adding 'Cash top-ups are not accepted at this station...' for every MRT station article? Honestly, could you just state it all at once at the facilities article? R22-3877 (talk) 14:53, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Potsdamer Platz

Hi SBS3800P,

I just saw your edits to Potsdamer Platz. While this information can be valuable, I'd like to suggest that you incorporate it into the existing sections, rather than creating new bullet-list sections. Especially the "Memories" section could be integrated into the history of the place. Averell (talk) 18:02, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bus transport in Berlin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Glienicke (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm Nigos. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Jalan Besar Group Representation Constituency, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please quote your sources.Xx236 (talk) 08:44, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello SBS3800P, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Sentosa have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:12, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, SBS3800P. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Chng Hee Kok, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Chng Hee Kok to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Uber protests and legal actions, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 12:23, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Berlin Nord-Süd Tunnel. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 05:56, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Jurong Region MRT line, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. R22-3877 (talk) 04:39, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mediacorp, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Matthew_hk tc 05:52, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism to your talk page

Noticed that there has been a lot of vandalism on your talk page recently, want to raise this to AIV? 1.02 editor (C651 set 217/218) 03:10, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, SBS3800P. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Construction of Berlin-Brandenburg Airport".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Abelmoschus Esculentus 08:47, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

Hello, SBS3800P. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
