Plot

Happy Mehra is a free spirited girl hailing from a middle class family who lives with her mother, younger sister and her aunt and uncle who detest them. On the other hand, two rich brothers Chintu Khosla and Rocky Khosla are exact opposites. Chintu is a kind-hearted man who falls in love with Happy at first sight whilst Rocky is an arrogant goon and a playboy. Rocky and Happy despise each other. Happy and Chintu become friends while Rocky and Happy constantly get into fights. Chintu accidentally drinks and confesses his love for Happy which shocks her. Chintu dies in an accident leaving the whole family and Happy shattered. Kulwant blames Rocky and throws him out the house.

Rocky decides to follow his brothers footsteps and sets up a hotel to fulfill Chintu’s dream. Happy joins him as she wants to fulfill Chintu's dream as well. Through a series of events, Rocky and Happy begin to see the good side of each other, thus slowly becoming friends in the process.

Amidst this, RV aka Ranvijay Shroff enters; a dapper and famous lawyer who fights for the righteousness and goodwill of the society. RV starts falling for Happy. Rocky is falsely accused of kidnapping and molesting Smiley and is sentenced to jail for ten years.

3 years later

Happy is running the hotel business successfully. Rocky escapes jail to prove his innocence. Happy and RV develop a strong bond of friendship. Rocky gets jealous seeing Happy and RV get close.
