Hi Curb Safe Charmer! I've tried to update my user information to better reflect my paid editor status for this piece. Basically we were hoping to add our flagship brand to this site. Our other brands are here. How, other than writing it ourselves and selecting better references to cite, could we get this brand onto Wikipedia?

Hello,

I have updated the content with a relevant source. Kindly review and let us know the same

Hello,

When do you think is the best time to create this page?

Thanks, liberetaecus

@Curb Safe Charmer: St. Joseph's Private School, Kuching

@Curb Safe Charmer: Hello,

This is Francislimsj. What are the copyrighted work that you meant on my draft on St. Joseph's Private School, Kuching? If you mean the material taken from the website of the school at https://stjosephkuching.edu.my/ how do I prove that I was the one who wrote those as well?

By the way, I cannot find my draft on Wikipedia? Where is it now so that I can edit it?

Thank you.

Davyth Fear

Hi Curb Safe Charmer You declined the above-named article as not meeting notability guidelines. May I suggest that although each fact may not meet notability guidelines in itself, that when they are taken in toto, that notability occurs: these being [1] being the general secretary of an international political organisation (where three other general secretaries have their own wikipedia page) [2] organising a record containing the first rock songs in two languages [3] organising the creation of 10,000 wikipedia articles [4] winning £500,000 and being the brother of a £1,000,000 winner on the TV programme 'Who wants to be a millionaire?' (a family feat unprecedented in the history of the programme). I have tried to add more references, and upgrade the standard of the references present. Would you check these four points, especially the inconsistencies noted in point [1] above, and let me know whether notability now exists. Brwynog (talk) 22:09, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Brwynog: The criteria by which we assess notability have been decided by the Wikipedia editor community. The criteria for biographies can be found at WP:NBIO. If you take a look at them you will find that a person having an important job doesn't automatically mean they are notable. See also WP:NPOL. There are special criteria for the notability of musicians at WP:NMUSICIAN. Being on a TV programme doesn't make a person notable, and nor does being the brother of someone notable. However if other reliable, independent publications (such as books or national newspaper articles) have already written in depth about the person and if you can cite references to those publications then the person may be notable and we'll assess the article based on the quality of those references. Request on 00:33:10, 19 September 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by Bugbuster77

Recently my page Draft:HELLSEED: Chapter 1 has been removed because it contains Copyrighted content. What is the Copyrighted work I used?

Bugbuster77 (talk) 00:33, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bugbuster77: It was material from http://www.profenix.com/eng/hellseed. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 07:29, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

TA Critchley

Hi, my nephew resubmitted my dad’s page, TA Critchley in May. It was updated following advice. Do we need to do anything other than wait? When first submitted we were told how many months to wait but nothing on this occasion. Many thanks. AlanJCritchley (talk) 20:04, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@AlanJCritchley: A line which was marked "do not remove this line" had been deleted, and as a result the button marked 'resubmit' was no longer there so it would not have been clear that you have to resubmit it for review after making those improvements. I have reinstated the line at Draft:T. A. Critchley. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 15:06, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

dear Safe Charmer, I do not offer wiki editing as a commercial service. In this case, I work on various papers with Dr sethi mentioned in this profile on a regular basis and I have helped him craft his wiki profile for which he paid me some incidentals in return for my efforts. other than that I do not offer wiki editing services. I have acknowledged the consideration received from dr sethi in the template after you pointed it to me. Request you to kindly delete your comments. And do let me know if I need to meet any other requirement. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vikram_Sethi

There is nothing that says that AFC drafts have to be perfect before being accepted (that would actually go against the point of AFC) and there is nothing that says tagging every issue is required. SL93 (talk) 08:48, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@SL93: Hmm. The instructions for AfC review include checking verifiability. Notability is at the core of AfC and I suspect this is not notable (it was previously deleted as such). But I think what is happening here is that when you accept a draft at AfC it is automatically marking it as patrolled. Do you have the WP:Curation toolbar installed? That may be doing it. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 08:59, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I can tag everything that is non-verified if that is an issue. My reason for approving Asia Designer Communication Platform was to merge some content to Annie Ivanova and Yarinda Bunnag, where the organization is mentioned and I didn't think I could do such a task from a draft. I became busy and forgot what I was originally planning. I will do that now. As for being marked as patrolled, my articles are autopatrolled. If that makes my reviewed AfC articles show up, that doesn't make any sense because I'm not marking anything as patrolled. I would like to know the reason myself. SL93 (talk) 09:09, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@SL93: I have just found that there's a current thread about this at Wikipedia_talk:New_pages_patrol/Reviewers#New_article_created_through_AfC. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 09:14, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That actually annoys me. AFC reviewers have been promoting articles without tagging anything or everything. I even just saw an admin approve an article without tagging it for having no categories a few days ago. I will tag everything now that I know this, but I can't say that other AFC reviewers will or that it will make clearing the massive backlog any easier. Well done sir. I have a question.

Base on my editing format, you will notice that I have will of clearing any promotional and advertisement on Wikipedia pages. Incase if it is indicated "failed verification" what is required there for it to be ok? Abubakar Balarabe (talk) 08:55, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Abubakar Balarabe: It is good to see you contributing to other articles rather than continuing to create new ones. Creating new articles is hard for new users. It is better to get experience editing other articles first. It saves other editors having to spent a lot of time fixing 'beginner' mistakes.
Regarding your question about 'failed verification' you can read about the template and when to use it at Template:Failed verification. There is information about dealing with uncited statements at WP:NOCITE. If the citation that failed verification is the only reference then the tag should prompt the article's creator (or any other editor) to replace the reference with one that does verify the statement. If no such reference can be found then the statement may need to be deleted. But in this case, the author had two references for the statement and the other one did support the statement, so you did the right thing in removing the unnecessary citation. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 09:05, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reply sir. It was I who provided the supported reference yesterday when I noticed that the page needs a lot of modifications. I will use your advice in focusing on providing solutions to pages that have problems than creating new pages untill i learn many things about wikipidia. Please, I want you to put your eyes on my editing format in order to be doing the right thing. I really appreciate your effort. I created a draft before getting such advice from you, this will be my last draft,I will not be creating draft again untill i get many experience of notability. Assistance

Well done sir. Can you tell me the acceptable time to make edit on Wikipedia pages? reason for this question is that, I have read an article on the internet that says "Editing from Nigeria starts from 6aM to 6pm" but I don't know that. Plz, can you explain to me the legal time so as to avoid being wrong or editing against the policy. Thank you. Abubakar Balarabe (talk) 22:35, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jam Alker

Hi!

I wrote the article Jam Alker (September 18)

Can you please advise me on what the copyrighted material you found was? Thank you so much! I'm new to this, so I appreciate your guidance.

I don't know if it's appropriate to share the text I submitted here, so please let me know what the best way to do that would be. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alkerjam (talkcontribs) 17:25, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Alkerjam: It was text copied from www.jamalker.com. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 17:40, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning!

It has reach to the level I have no respect over you. I have warned you to stop involving in my activities. I told you since, I don't your assistant anyone because you are not optimistic at all looking wrong side of my activities. This is absolutely rubbish, I'm creating draft and be involving your self. I don't need you and I don't want to your assist anymore. I have never seen anyone editing my draft except you. This isn't an article, I warn you not to involve in my activities. I don't know you, and I don't want your assistance. Stop involving your self in my draft. Abbas Kwarbai (talk) 14:47, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Abbas Kwarbai: Please read WP:OWNERSHIP. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 14:56, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop interfering on my draft, why haven't you go and contribute to others. I said I don't need your assistance anymore. Continue wasting your time putting on your watchlist Abbas Kwarbai (talk) 15:54, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning!

I have warn you to stop appearing on Wikipedia edition. I don't know you, I don't need you help. Yesterday you clearly shows that you don't know what are you doing of saying Jersey is only from United States. Your edition is full of blunders. I have warn you to stop touching what I edit. I must appeal of what you have done to me for nomination of investigation against me which you were been proved wrong. Your have no work that's why you exhausting your time on me by reediting what I edited. Abbas Kwarbai (talk) 10:15, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hush! Hush!

Following this your guess would be as good as mine, They have eventually voted a delete in the article they created, it’s obvious they aren’t interested in arguing because if they do, they’d know it’d just be digging a hole they’d eventually fall into as they their UPE/ sock-puppetry might be exposed hence they want this whole thing to end as soon as can be. Celestina007 (talk) 17:21, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GOOD JOB

I am not sad for deleting my contribution and I will not create the page again. Whoever sees the reason you have given for the deletion must laugh at you and must know that you have hidden plane on me. Pahaps, if it was another editor who went through the work can never do that. After spending over ten years on Wikipedia, the best thing you specialized on is putting pressure on me.

Therefore, I want you to know that, Wikipedia is for everyone in the world which has beautiful policies and good hearing...I went through the sources I have cited and write using my own way of speaking but I have not copied it from their website, this has clearly shown that you have not gone through the sources cited and referenced.

Why didn't you invite other editors to look at the page? You decided yourself for the self interest which adds no value to you. Even if the page will be undone, I don't like it, since I have no anything to do with the page.

Being someone who spent over ten years on Wikipedia, it is really backwardness to be exchanging words with someone who knows nothing on Wikipedia. You are not encouraging the perticipations of new editor and other editors are not behaving like you do, they are kind, simple, caring, example citers, putting new editors in a write way when he or she does wrong. I am simple if you like being simple but my hurtness is very dangerous and I am ready to receive an invitation of your serious hatenes. I am indeed not afraid of anything, I know what I do, and I am always in support of the policies of the foundation, but you can never hurt me as you wish. Plz, don't allow me to retaliate.
