Incorrect Information[edit]

This whole article is wrong.. The Ōyumi was an artillery weapon. Whilst there is some ambiguity over the name, evidence as to why the occurrence of the word in historical texts refers to the artillery weapon and not crossbows (which at the time had a different name - shudo) is presented in the book Samurai, Warfare and the State in Early Medieval Japan, by Karl F.
