Quotations[edit]

The quotes from the article seem to be a little one-sided. Are there any quotes available from members of the targeted warez groups, either arrested or not?

"...a multibillion-dollar software swindle over the Internet..."—Robert C. Bonner, commissioner of the Customs Service

Its not as if the hackers tend to make money from this thing. Sure, thats revenue lost to the big software publishers (and I'm sure we're all gagging to shed tears for them), but its not done for the money, its done for the challenge and the respect. 217.154.153.2 15:08, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion[edit]

Oppose unless someone convinces me otherwise. Paul, in Saudi (talk) 22:56, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Are you familiar at all with the topic? As written, I can't tell how notable this series of arrests really was. The article is sorely lacking in context. Mackensen (talk) 00:43, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Operation Buccaneer: part of the Drug War[edit]

There is another Operation Buccaneer that was a drug operation by the DEA several decades ago which I think was related to Caribbean, maybe only Jamaican, drug trade and growing. I'm currently researching it, but in case I don't make a separate article, here are some links that I'll be reading:
