About me

I am a medical doctor and a public health practitioner. I work in an NGO based out of BR Hills and Bangalore in South India. My work focuses on primary health care and improving access and quality of health care in public health facilities in Arunachal Pradesh and Karnataka states in India.

I made history on Wikipedia at 09:58(UTC) on 7th February 2005. Somewhere around my 10000th edit, I prevented the blue footed bobby from eating you when you go near it and biting your head off and killing you in your sleep!!
I edit articles on Indian natural history specifically birds. Other areas in which I dabble include British-Indian naturalists, Hindu philosophy & mythology, Indian tribal people, little-known towns/villages and some medicine/public health related articles.

The userboxes on the right indicate some of my obvious biases. As far as possible, I try not to let them 'colour' my contributions on wikipedia. The boxes fairly summarise what you should know when you deal with me.
