My name is Lene, but I generally go by vernajast online. I am a 28-year-old professional technical writer, and I write fan fiction and original fiction in my off hours. I do a bit of editing and freelance writing, as well. You will find me in many different categories, as varied as science fiction, Naruto, San Francisco, insects, Louisiana, music, history, and astronomy.

I currently reside in San Francisco, CA with my girlfriend and our kitten, Sasuke-kitty. Unfortunately, I'm away on business trips to Shreveport, LA very often, but I plan to change that soon.

Goals on Wikipedia

My main goal is to use my obsessive attention to detail to edit and clean up some of the inconsistencies that arise from each entry having multiple writers and editors. This includes going over consistent use of punctuation, spelling, and spacing. I am a stickler for consistency and clarity, and I tend to catch those extra commas that sneak in here and there.

I have been doing these kinds of edits on a small scale anonymously for four years. In the future, I plan to contribute to sparsely written entries that fall under my expertise or interests.

Evaluate 227 instances of "really cool" for vandalism (usually part of a quote, but not always).
Read over Naruto articles for any missing information or ways to improve.
