Your GA nomination of 945 Madison Avenue

The article 945 Madison Avenue you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:945 Madison Avenue for comments about the article, and Talk:945 Madison Avenue/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Message delivered by ChristieBot, on behalf of Ppt91 -- Ppt91 (talk) 13:24, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats and thanks for all your hard work. I look forward to hopefully collaborating on another project in the future. :-) Ppt91talk 13:26, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback on State Automobile Mutual Insurance Company DYK Nomination

Your feedback on Template:Did you know nominations/State Automobile Mutual Insurance Company would be appreciated! Maximilian775 (talk) Maximilian775 (talk) 16:31, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for creating the company article, it's a very important piece of Columbus history. For the DYK, I'm not sure what a "Christmas Corner" or a "Christmas Card to the Community" are, and I think a year is important to specify there as well... ɱ (talk) 16:34, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's a seasonal Christmas display that was hosted at the building every winter. I've edited the DYK to include both that information and the year of its creation. Maximilian775 (talk) 18:09, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Roosevelt Hotel image caption

Hello,

Confused by this edit. The documentation of Template:Infobox building does not suggest it needs to be "different (in look) than today" to include the date - both examples in the docs refer to current buildings (and include dates from recent times). Is there a different policy somewhere on this? I'd say there are three standards used; (1) the date as I suggest, ex. Chrysler Building and Woolworth Building (which I would imagine both are opposed to this viewpoint); (2) information about the perspective of the photograph, ex. Philadelphia City Hall; (3) no caption at all. 2008 was 15 years ago, so by some standards that could be a long time, and I haven't seen it myself, so I have no idea if it currently looks like this; but the date is clearly sourced in the image, so why not include it? --Engineerchange (talk) 18:12, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Fire stations in Columbus, Ohio

@: It been some weeks since you finished editing this article and you have a bunch raw search url results for references that resolve to a login dialog, that are completely non- standard references. We had a conversation before about this on another article some months ago. They are unintelligence to the average reader. I can't make head nor tail of them. They don't resolve to anything. If those references are not brought up to spec, then I plan to move the article to draft. You'll move it back no doubt and I will need to start issuing warning against you. scope_creepTalk 01:07, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Draftifying an article simply because you don't like its state of completion is a violation of policy and I won't hesitate to have an administrator block you. You're wrongly assuming I am done with this work in progress, and they are valid URLs to valid sources. You have a right to tag them in-line, but nothing more. Act more than this and you are openly seeking a ban. ɱ (talk) 01:39, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry you don't have a Columbus Metropolitan Library card, I'm sorry NewsBank refused my request to create URLs friendly to any reader worldwide, and I'm sorry you refuse to ask the Ohio Wikimedians user group for access to URLs you're unsure of. But none of these are my problem, or things I could ever fix. Go away. ɱ (talk) 01:43, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That is not a case at all. I'm following process. I'm an article reviewer. I review articles as part of WP:NPP and WP:AFC. I've been doing that so since 2016. The reason I came back to check your articles because we had this conversation before, several months ago about an article that you created, with the same type of raw search urls used as references. These reference are non-standard. They are non-RS. Bare search url in this type of format are illegal. They can't be read. They don't allow a reader to do a search on their own, even if the source document is behind a dialog or a paywall. They're an illegal reference format. I'll give this week to fix them, and then I will need to follow process. scope_creepTalk 08:08, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
