A tag has been placed on Cooperative Learning Institute requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Ejay (talk) 10:39, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Cooperative Learning Institute, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. In your post on my talk page, you indicate that this is a thing that will be occuring in the near future -- when that happens, I suggest you write an article. Until then, it is a very strange advertisement or an article on original research, and I still recommend it for deletion. Josh.Pritchard.DBA (talk) 17:30, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading Image:Ariel View of Islamabad.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Justice Sayed Zahid Hussain, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.iways.net/LHC/judges/jbiodata/Justice%20Syed%20Zahid%20Hussain.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. I have made the change accordingly as Justice Sayed Zahid Hussain is a Chief Justice of Lahore High Court. You can find about him on Google and also on Lahore High Court Pakistan.

Removing tags from articles.

Please do not remove tags from articles when they are clearly still needed. Examples include your removal of tags from Darul Ehsan and Sufi Barkat Ali. ناهد/(Nåhed) speak! 11:14, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Darul Ehsan

A tag has been placed on Darul Ehsan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. Notices of Speedy Deletion

Please read the instructions printed on the Notices of Speedy Deletion:

If this page does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. If you created this page and you disagree with its proposed speedy deletion, please add: {{hangon}} directly below this tag, and then explain why you believe this article should not be deleted on its talk page. This will alert administrators to permit you the time to write your explanation. See help writing your first article.

Since you created both articles Sufi Barkat Ali and Darul Ehsan, you cannot remove the tag. You must use the tag.

عيد مبرك

Hey there and عيد مبرك.

I wasn't responsible for actually deciding whether or not the articles in question were to be deleted, I merely tagged them for discussion. The decision was made by consensus, one that I did not participate in after basic nomination, which I did due to numerous issues, including notability.

If you feel these concerns were not addressed properly, I encourage you to examine the Manuals of Style including Wikipedia:MOSISLAM, create a subpage of your own page as a starter replacement page and start a discussion with people on Islamic projects (WikiProject Islam, for example). After critique and input from interested parties, you can review the process for recreating a page for Sufi Barakat Ali and demonstrate the material is notable, relevant and well-sourced.

The requirements for notability and fulfilling the expectations of the Manual of Style are important if your article was deleted. As I said, I removed myself from the process after posting my reasons to consider deletion because honestly I did not find the subject matter to fall within my purview of expertise - I avoid Sufism articles because they are infamously POV hagiographical material.

I wish you well. Remember, I don't have to create the article for you - you can do it yourself with a little "elbow grease" and preparation. Once you feel you have a working model ready to be posted, contact the moderator who deleted the article and let them know you are planning to reopen the article so they don't get cross.

Hope you had/have a gorgeous Eid, ناهد/(Nåhed) speak! 12:49, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Sufi Barkat Ali, please take your statement and file a Deletion Review if you are unsatisfied with my deletion of your article. Thanks, seicer | talk | contribs 13:07, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Irtiza hassan

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Irtiza hassan, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Irtiza hassan seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Irtiza hassan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Edhifoundation.gif)

⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:Edhifoundation.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:44, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Urdu Wikipedia

Dear friend,

You seem to be an active Wikipedian from Pakistan. We have an Urdu Wikipedia that needs all the help that it can get. Currently, we do not have many active users and we will really appreciate if you would consider becoming an active contributor. As you are already familiar with Wikipedia's style and rules, your presence would also help elevate the overall content quality.

Hope to see you soon at Urdu Wikipedia

Hi, as regards the Ahmad Jawad and Harvest Tradings articles and the Articles for deletion discussions, please don't remove the templates, that is not correct, the discussion must be allowed to go ahead for seven days. You are welcome to comment in the discussions, thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 07:13, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Harvest Tradings

There is no need to nominate the article for deletion. i have gone through in detail. Wikipedia administror also decline the thoughts. Iam a citizen of Pakistan and this company contribute a lot for the peoples of pakistan. if you have issues discuss on the talk page rather put tag on the article. --Azamishaque (talk) 12:11, 13 September 2010 (UTC

Please stop. If you continue removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Harvest Tradings, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Off2riorob (talk) 07:30, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Ahmad Jawad, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Off2riorob (talk) 07:31, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea why you, Azamishaque, have copied this text to my talk page. I imagine you would rather not see these articles deleted. If that is the case, you need to familiarize yourself with the following guidelines:
and be prepared to discuss how the subjects you are writing about meet Wikipedia's guidelines. AFD's are deletion discussions and you need to discuss how the articles you do not want deleted are about notable subjects. Notable is narrowly defined, and needs to be proven via reliable sources. So please, instead of removing the AFD notices, which is disruptive, follow the links to the discussion and make comments there. --Jayron32 15:01, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

The article Atif Rais Khan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No assertion of notability (owning a company is not sufficient). Written like an advert/CV. I have made a reasonable search for sources on his life to no avail.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
