Reflinks

I'm just starting to use reflinks a little bit and I was wondering if you have any experience with the tool. If so, is it really as simple as typing in an article name and saving anything changes generated? AutomaticStrikeout 20:41, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I recently started using it. I just fill in the title and URL, and the date is automatically filled in for you. I found out about it from Thine Antique Pen (talk · contribs) and Riley Huntley (talk · contribs), so if you have a specific question about it, ask them. --v/r Electric Catfish (talk) 20:43, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. I will. AutomaticStrikeout 20:44, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar thanks

Thank you for the barnstar; "you're welcome" for the underlying sentiments. Now, I can finally archive my talk page! Daniel Case (talk) 20:41, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As you can see, Go Phightins! and I have started up the page! Of course, it still needs plenty of work, but eventually it will hopefully look as nice as the umps one does. AutomaticStrikeout 02:28, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Do you want to call it the "Referee's Task Force?" --v/r Electric Catfish (talk) 12:11, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the NFL WikiProject seems to use subprojects instead of task forces. AutomaticStrikeout 18:10, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New Wiki-subProject

Automatic Strikeout and I have started a new sub-project off of the NFL Wiki-Project dedicated to referees. It can be found here. You expressed interest on AutomaticStrikeout's talk, so I figured you'd probably be interested. It's in the frantic organizational stage at the moment, but feel free to jump in. Thanks! Go Phightins! (talk) 03:10, 5 October 2012 (UTC) [reply]

Well, looks like AutomaticStrikeout pinged you without my even noticing. Go Phightins! (talk) 03:12, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IRC cloak request

Hello Electriccatfish2. You recently applied for a Wikimedia IRC cloak, but it looks like you forgot to register your nickname first. Could you please log on to IRC and do:

/msg NickServ REGISTER <password> <email>

where <password> is a password of your choice and <email> is your e-mail address? After you do that, please follow the instructions that are e-mailed to you to confirm your e-mail address. When you're done with that, I just need you to confirm your cloak request:

/msg MemoServ send wmfgc IRC cloak request

After you finish all of that, I'd be happy to get you a cloak. :-) If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my Meta talk page. Barras talk 10:03, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging indef editors

For what it is worth, I almost never tag every indef'ed editor's talk page even when I block them, and generally recommend against anyone else, so it doesn't look like grave dancing. Some observers are very touchy about that. While it isn't strictly an admin-only task, it is one of those best left to admin if there is a reason to do it before the dust settles. Sockmasters are a bit different and the software automatically does that at SPI, but that is because the information may be needed for future investigations (it creates links to key pages, for example), whereas your run of the mill indef really doesn't need it under most circumstances. Thanks for the advice, Dennis, it's always great to hear from you. I've undid the tag because another editor apparently thought that I was trying to tag the page for deletion. Anyways, new page patrol suites me better. See you around! --v/r Electric Catfish (talk) 16:52, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Last Warning?

Hello, I do not understand why I am receiving a Last Warning and I also do not understand hwo and why deleted an external link with a Python Fourier transform program that I added as an external link to the Fourier series page. PavelSolin (talk) 15:55, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I removed spam links that you inserted into the article. --v/r Electric Catfish (talk) 23:53, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikibreak

I'm a bit stressed out right now, especially with my recent content dispute and being trolled, so I'll be taking a short Wikibreak and hope to be back soon. Best wishes to all. --v/r Electric Catfish (talk) 23:56, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
