Attributions

Hi, I just stumbled by coincidence on the page you created at Contrex. I am bilinual French-English and I will clean up the translation for you. However, perhaps you did not know, but when you take an article from another Wikipedia, you must place an attribution template on the English article's talk page. It's a template like this {{translated page|fr|page name|version=|insertversion=|small=no|Translation and reediting by [[User:xxxxxxx]].}}. You can see an example at Talk:Brontë. if anything is not clear, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page.--Kudpung (talk) 10:33, 11 July 2010 (UTC) PS: I see you did in fact place an attribution, but it should go on the article's talk page. No harm done :) --Kudpung (talk) 10:56, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

lectorium page

Greetings,

I noticed your recent modifications to the Lectorium Rosicrucianum page. What is your interest and knowledge about the Lectorium?

Best regards,

Cbpersel (talk) 17:52, 1 September 2010 (UTC) Craig[reply]

lectorium page

OK. Very good.

About the "?" at the top of the Lectorium page ... This article includes a list of references or external links, but its sources remain unclear because it has insufficient inline citations. Please help to improve this article by introducing more precise citations where appropriate.

I noticed you added inline references, but is this a request of more inline citations for other sections within the article? I can provide those if needed.

Best regards,

Cbpersel (talk) 17:21, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Craig[reply]

Incorrect information about the Lectorium

Hello,

I noticed some incorrect information about the Lectorium teachings .. to quote ... "According to Rijckenborgh, Christ never came on Earth and his sacrifical death is a mistaken teaching; this can lead LR members to leave the Church.[11]"

While the Lectorium teachings do not focus on the physical and/or historical manifestation of Christ (i.e. worshiping a figure) it is felt that Jesus Christ was indeed a living, historical figure and a necessary step in the manifestation of the resurrection of the "original man" in this world. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cbpersel (talkcontribs) 11:42, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect information about the Lectorium

Thank you for the changes, but even thought it seems to be from a reliable source it is still refuted by the actual teachings of the Lectorium or Mr. van Rijckenborgh. I'm not sure where the authors got their information. Today I will get direct references from literature of the Lectorium that contradict Fahlbusch and Bromiley. Their information is probably from secondary sources and not the direct literature or teachings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cbpersel (talkcontribs) 12:18, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect information about the Lectorium

OK. So I will get direct quotes from the literature and Mr. van Rijckenborgh that contradict the author's information. I read that section of the Encyclopedia of Christianity and the authors give no supportive reference(s) for Mr. van Rijckenborgh's statement regarding an historical Christ. It seems to be based on personal opinion rather than supportive documentation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cbpersel (talkcontribs) 13:25, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Peniston's song Finally charted at #5 in the Netherlands (http://dutchcharts.nl/showitem.asp?interpret=Ce+Ce+Peniston&titel=Finally&cat=s or http://lescharts.com/showitem.asp?interpret=Ce+Ce+Peniston&titel=Finally&cat=s), no at #6 as very likely initiated by the link of yours. That is why the reference links for both was updated. Anyway, as far as I am aware, the number of reference links is not limited to only one source, especially in case of potantial disaccords. Cheers

Hi, thanks but I think I learned my lesson here and wanna focus on else stuff now.

Anyway, could you complete Peniston's discography and to include missing information as for her chart entries in the Japanese Tokio Hot 100? I was lucky to find following details yet:

  1. "Finally" charted at No #2 for three weeks (on March 8-22, 1992) and was classified as No.#41 in the Tokio Hot 100 end-year chart in 1992 (http://www.j-wave.co.jp/original/tokiohot100/chart_19/1992.htm)
  2. "We Got a Love Thang" charted at No. #3 for two weeks (on April 12-19, 1992), and also reached No.#21 in the Japanese end-year chart in 1992 (http://www.j-wave.co.jp/original/tokiohot100/chart_19/1992.htm)
  3. "I'm in the Mood" even topped the Japanese Hot 100 at number 1 (on February 13, 1994) + No.#30 in the Japanese end-year chart of '94 (http://www.j-wave.co.jp/original/tokiohot100/chart_19/1994.htm)
  4. "I'm Not Over You" peaked at #94 (on July 3, 1994)
  5. "Hit by Love" climbed to #35 (on October 16, 1994)
  6. "Movin' On" charted at #30" (on September 29, 1996), and
  7. "Somebody Else's Guy" scored at #26 (on April 12, 1998)

Peniston also had two singles simultaneously in the Japanese Top 10 in 1992 (while "Finally" charted at #7 in Tokio Hot 100 on April 5, her single "We Got a Love Thang" scored at number 4 the same week. This information should probably be highlighted also in her discography article.

Another interesting detail that should be added is that in Japan her song "I Will Be Received" (which was not released elsewhere on single and was originally available only on her Thought 'Ya Knew album), independetly entered the Japanese Hot 100 Tokio as well and peaked at No.#64 (on March 20, 1994); perhaps thanks to her single "I'm in the Mood" (at that time still in Top 10 in fact) that surprisingly became her number one in Japan, and even her only official number one hit single to date in whatsoever any music world chart.

The reference link for Hot 100 Tokio chart is http://www.j-wave.co.jp/original/tokiohot100/, where you can verify all the chart details. No need to reply, be well, and so long.

Image copyright problem with File:Don't you want me.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Don't you want me.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
