Are you thinking about nominating North Avenue Bridge for WP:GAC? You should. Also, take a look at BP Pedestrian Bridge. I am thinking of nominating it at WP:FAC. Any thoughts?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 06:07, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

GAN Reviewer of the Week

The Good Article Medal of Merit
Congratulations! Based on the number and thoroughness of reviews, I have chosen you as the GAN Reviewer of the Week for the week ending 13 April 2008. Dr. Cash (talk) 06:11, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your GA comments on review of this article. I believe I have addressed them all. I have added comments in reply on the talk page. They have just been completed, so will also re-read them shortly as well. I have added how I addressed the issues raised. (I am not really knowing how to do en-dash so tried a copy and paste for example) (I used another article for inflation ratio between now and 1963)SriMesh | talk 02:56, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for passing this article to GA status. Have entered the article to the League of Copy Editors for prose improvement as well as per comments. Kind Regards SriMesh | talk 03:50, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review

Thanks for all your help clearing the Transport GA nom backlog. Regarding the Air Transport in the UK 2nd opinion you asked for – although I'm not a more experienced reviewer or an expert in the field – IMHO it's plenty good enough for Good Article status, and the time to go over the remaining issues with a fine toothed comb would be at a featured article candidacy. That's just one editor's very humble opinion though. -- Kéiryn talk 02:17, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thanks for wading through this article. It's long and must have taken up a good deal of your time. I've responded to your outstanding concern on the article talk page. --FactotEm (talk) 06:42, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NY 21

Hi, I noticed that you put the review template on NY 21's GAN a few days ago. I was wondering if, because it's been several days, you see something wrong with the article. Don't feel rushed, I just wanted to know the status. Thanks, Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 00:04, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ummmm, there are a lot of citations on the article Maronite mummies. How sure are you that the text is copyvio? How closely did you follow.. the text of the entire article? Etc. Ling.Nut (talk) 14:34, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NY 418

Just curious, what's holding this GAN up from passing. If the Dude Ranch Trail is taken out, there will be 1 sentence of history.Mitch32contribs 02:31, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

for this 3.5 mile road to nowhere, no. I can try merging it out, will take at least a week or a couple days. 418 is part of a FT of mine and I need it at least at GA to work on it.Mitch32contribs 02:44, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That also reminds me, another article in the FT I'm working on, NY 9L, would end up being in the same condition of 418, with only 1 sentence of history, making the article look like junk. Is there a way we can compromise?Mitch32contribs 15:24, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What do you wanna do? NY 418 has no history section, which doesn't help me at all. Is there a way you can help me get it audited for quality?Mitch32contribs 22:37, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Newsbank

I tried to use your newsbank for three refs at Crown Fountain. It is now asking for a password. What do I do?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 21:57, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How do I obtain the open URLs for the 3 Crown Fountain links?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 15:23, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
O.K. I have those two fixed. Thanks for the help. I am wondering if I can use this service for Michigan newspapers. It seems that it is limited to Illinois. I have two citations at Tyrone Wheatley that I would love to clean up.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 16:16, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mirth & Girth

I don't know if you saw the 4/25 WP:RFC commentary, but it seems like you were left a lot of advice toward improviing the article.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 02:05, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA review

Just wanted to remind you, I'm waiting for your reply on the talk page at Federal Bridge Gross Weight Formula regarding your GA review of the article. Thanks! --ErgoSum88 (talk) 21:40, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have updated the page with information about the history of the law, as you have requested. --ErgoSum88 (talk) 07:19, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Control cities

Can you explain this edit for me. I do not see any policy against control city boxes.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 05:26, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A favor...

I was wondering if you could take a peek at the M-35 (Michigan highway) FAC if you get a moment's time? Thanks in advance! Imzadi1979 (talk) 01:57, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA page moved

You promoted The Future of Air Transport white paper article to GA recently. Following your comments in the GAN about scope, and the subsequent failure of a FAC for the same reason, I have moved this article to Air transport and the environment (United Kingdom). Letting you know in case you feel that this move necessitates a review of the GA status. Regards. --FactotEm (talk) 10:45, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

USRD participants list

As discussed at WT:USRD, the participants list at WP:USRD is being split by state. Due to any of the following factors- your extended participation in WT:USRD discussions, your IRC participation, or your extended participation in Shields or Maps, I have guessed that you are a nationwide editor and have designated you as such in the USRD partiicpants table. This is part of the lengthy process. If this is in error, please let me know immediately. This is especially likely with this group as I have to guess whether you are a national or a state editor. Thanks for the help. See comments at Wikipedia:WikiProject_U.S._Roads/Maps_task_force/Requests#Request_for_various_GA.2B_articles.

Also, Rush Street (Chicago) is at FAC. Images have been an issue and I just did a major overhaul and could use some feedback.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 16:04, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Review update

Are you still planning to review Channel Tunnel and M54 motorway? They've been marked as under review for awhile, and I was wondering if you forgot about them. Nikki311 21:33, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Everard Calthrop Good Article review

I have finished editing Everard Calthrop to include your suggested improvements. Where I have not been able to I have left an explanation at Talk:Everard Calthrop/GA1. Hope it is all in order. Thanks for reviewing this page, and thanks for your kind comments at the end of the review. Cheers --Michael Johnson (talk) 11:07, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I made the changes you suggested. For the question about the speed limits, the state highway administration lists those in the Highway Location Reference. - Algorerhythms (talk) 05:19, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review of Kinzua Bridge

I believe I have taken care of all the problems. Details are on the review page. Let me know if there are any problems. --Dtbohrertalkcontribs 18:58, 1 July 2008 (UTC) [reply]

Thanks rewriting that paragraph, hope it wasn't too much trouble. I fixed a couple typos (i.e. "plants" -> "plans"). I appreciate you taking the time to review the article and then rewording one of the paragraphs. --Dtbohrertalkcontribs 15:12, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New York Roads

Awaiting a reply from New York for the highways I am reviewing and have on hold. Should come tomorrow. Will notify you as well, as you are reviewing one or two articles. Kind Regards SriMesh | talk 00:53, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Info was to come last Friday of June, maybe the Canada Day July 1 and July 4 celebrations / stats held up the mail. So now must wait till Monday to see what the postman brings. The file was too big to email. SriMesh | talk 22:31, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
