Important Notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Fix infobox image syntax

Please stop changing the image syntax in Parliament of India. The field for |structure1= only accepts a plain filename. Otherwise, the article is placed in Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images to alert editors that it needs to be fixed. I have fixed it twice and you keep re-introducing the error. MB 16:35, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I did upload a new file, forgot the field style. Manish9893 (talk) 16:38, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 8

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of current members of the Rajya Sabha, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Independent (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:49, 8 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

April 2020

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, you may be blocked from editing. Kautilya3 (talk) 07:22, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I just changed the grammar which as very hateful aginst us. Manish9893 (talk) 13:03, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to argue about "us" and "them", you better stick to Facebook and Twitter. Wikipedia is not for you. Wikipedia summarises reliable sources. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 14:14, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I Indian Map : Where do we create map which has bifurcated Jammu Kashmir and shows pok too ? Kindly tell. Manish9893 (talk) 13:26, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please stop making edits like this one. Wikipedia has no centralized system of creating maps and figures, and in any case that would not be the way to ask how to find it; edits like that are a nuisance, nothing more. If you would like to make maps yourself, the WP:TEAHOUSE might be the best place to ask for help; Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics might be another place where you may find people willing to help you. Your map is not as good as the one the article already has

  1. Countries of all sizes have to be colored by size.
  2. French Guiana is part of France and must be colored the same as European France.

Georgia guy (talk) 11:18, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry.... Denmark with green land too. Coloring tiniest countries is hard. It's rather an overview. Manish9893 (talk) 13:29, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:56, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Useless edits

This is the fourth or fifth time that I am seeing you delete content and then reinstate it. Can you explain why you do this? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 09:37, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did not delete it...I rather posted it above....since it is in difference section the section can be trasfered only by deleting at one place and post at another.

This happened on Bharatiya Janata party page ...State results section. This caused inconvenience but the state results and ruling map and details should be along with loksabha amd rajyasabha results not after idiology section in my opinion. Manish9893 (talk) 09:42, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks for explaining. If you edit the whole page, you can move content from one section to another in a single edit. Please make sure to write an edit summary as well stating that you are moving content to a different section. -- Kautilya3 (talk)

For sure i knew that but during the task i went for it as the edit was to be done alongwith transfer....(As you can see below States map, March 2020 was written it changed to Feb-2021 simultaneously. Manish9893 (talk) 15:09, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Bharatiya Janata Party. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 20:45, 6 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

BJP is basically a hindutva party. The flag which was being used have 40% green part 60% saffron part. This is not the case . It is low. So the flag by me was realistic not the other one. Ratio is 20-80. Manish9893 (talk) 04:42, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding next delimitation of constituencies in India

Please see [1]. Relevant quote from there : "... the Constitution of India was specifically amended in 2002 not to have delimitation of constituencies till the first census after 2026. Thus, the present Constituencies carved out on the basis of 2001 census shall continue to be in operation till the first census after 2026." The first census after 2026 is probably going to be the one in 2031. Please review the above and make changes to the article. Also, do you have a good source for the expected number of LS seats to be 888? If so, please add it to the article. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 04:07, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

1st....right 2nd - Since the house is being made if 888 seats and 1 MP 1 Million rule is going to be applied (not statewise), by 2031 We will have almost 900 Million Voters so 888 anouncement meets perfect. Manish9893 (talk) 23:19, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have an official source either for the 888 expected number OR for the "1 MP per million voters" rule that you mentioned? If so, please add it to the article's talk page MPGuy2824 (talk) 03:43, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
