Wikipedia is not a soapbox

Wikipedia talk pages are not forums for you to air your grievances; they are intended for article improvement via material that is reliably sourced. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:59, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Power of 200 Million, you are invited to the Teahouse

Final warning

If you continue to use Wikipedia for a soapbox, you will be blocked from editing indefinitely. OhNoitsJamie Talk 01:42, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unbelievable is this the level to which wikipedia has gone? you are now going to try and stop people from posting in the discussion pages? this is ridiculous, you cannot edit the personal user page of someone. Your own page is a complete blog http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ohnoitsjamie.
The discussion pages were the only things left in wikipedia where facts were being put, the main pages are paid for by people anyway to stop others from editing them. The only thing left was the discussion pages. If the discussion pages go then pretty much everything is gone in wikipedia. On top of that you are trying to police the personal user page as well? unbelievable. Power of 200 Million (talk) 01:44, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Paid editing is VERY much frowned upon on Wikipedia. If you have any evidence that somebody is being paid to promote a particular point of view, you should contact the arbitration committee immediately - such an editor would be liable to a lengthy, possibly an indefinite block from editing.

On the talk page, you have been told what would it take for your contributions to be included in an article. Wikipedia does not serve for unsourced accusations; you need to find reliable sources. Even then, should you find a source for Pakistan making a particular accusation against India, you can't include it as if it were an indisputable fact (not unless there's an overwhelming agreement in reliable sources that the accusation is true). Instead, you need to mention who made the accusation, what the accusation was, and perhaps what was India's response.

You need to have a look at the policies of neutrality and verifiability. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 21:57, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, Power of 200 Million, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Since you've shown some interest in editing topics related to Pakistan, we hope you'll stay and add content to Pakistan-related articles. Pakistani topics are generally underrepresented on Wikipedia and you can help counter this imbalance by becoming a regular contributor and by joining or watchlisting Pakistan-related discussions (for example, Notice board for Pakistan-related topics). Again, welcome!

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or do things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia, as you did at Talk:Kashmir conflict. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. We're sorry if this message has discouraged you from editing this website, but the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia (please see WP:NOT for further details). Thank you.
