I'm happy to change it but I'd like to know what you suggest to format it better. I've put something like two months of research into this article, so I'm pretty sure I can prove whatever you'd like. Some of it is on various pages of things, and some things, I have a real challenge for because I have the pictures, say, of the penthouse and playboy features, but they are archived and in old formats that aren't even visible anymore, however, I can't post the picture because it's technically their copywritten material, unless there is some kind of exception that can be made for reference; in this case you'd know better than I would.

Sorry

Sorry. My intention was not to undo but to correct and use other references in some cases. I'm trying to rethink things as I go along. As some references included photos only and not name, I therefore aimed to find a better one. I'll try to identify your example. Thank you.

Sula Vineyards Wiki Page

Hi,

I see that you added the advert box on the sula vineyards wiki page. I am currently working on this page for a school project, and was wondering where exactly it did not sound neutral or too promotional?

It is possible for you to edit those parts out or show them to me so I could make the needed changes?

Thanks!

Further improvements

Hello Theroadislong... I'd like to work with you to improve SOCO International's Wiki page, get the facts out there and legitimize the page/remove the tags. I will not directly edit the page again since I am a COI editor and do have a 'close connection' with the subject. Nevertheless, I would like to help present the facts about SOCO's activities while adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines. In order to remove the promotional content I suggest removing the following three sentences, but please let me know what needs to happen to further improve the page and I would be happy to assist: -- "In 2016 it was reported that SOCO had indicated that with low cost production, no debt and its disciplined approach to capital allocation, the company was in a good position to weather a prolonged industry downturn." --"Looking ahead, the company said it plans to produce 10,000 to 11,500 barrels of oil equivalent a day in 2016 This doesn't included potentially higher output scenarios from its TGT field in Vietnam." --"The start of production was achieved more than a month ahead of schedule, SOCO said, and the H5 wellhead platform development was completed with zero lost time accidents." I look forward to hearing from you, SOCOrep — Preceding unsigned comment added by SOCOrep (talkcontribs) SOCOrep (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

Comstock's

i was literally trying to add sources in when you deleted everything I'd written, now what am i supposed to do, rewrite it all? Thanks a lot.

Yale School of Drama grad & Genie Awards

I am working to understand how and why these edits are being made. My first reference (Sayle Screen) discusses both Angela Workman's graduate degree from the Yale School of Drama, and also her film, The War Bride, winning two Genie Awards in Toronto. Hoping you'll undo your edit.

Made the changes

Hello Theroadislong,

I made the changes that you informed me on the Brad Conroy (Musical Artist) Draft page. Hoping you can take another look and help move it to the main index.BradConroy (talk) 16:33, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have not added any reliable sources yet? Theroadislong (talk) 16:36, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Road, I've got rid of the blooming boxes and gaps that made it barely readable; however, all that does is highlight even more the complete lack of sources and notability. Cheers! O Fortuna!...Imperatrix mundi. 16:44, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to draft

    I appreciate the responses Theroadislong,
I don't see a conflict of interest in the article as there are no declaratory claims, mostly just general information. I am not sure how much more reliable sources you can ask for then published articles, especially in a field as marginal as classical guitar.
Seems as the Brad Conroy (Musical Artist) draft coincides with other similar artists. See; Fareed Haque and countless other articles on Wikipedia. Seems that the Brad Conroy (Musical Artist) draft has much more credibility and cited sources.
                   Thank you. BradConroy (talk) 16:45, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia does not consider blogs to be reliable sources, you have a list of sources but no inline citations, and you are strongly advised not to write autobiographies, if you are notable someone will write an article about you at some point. Theroadislong (talk) 16:48, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Citation Needed

Theroadislong, thank you for reviewing the Draft Brad Conroy (Musical Artist). I have applied the 'citation needed' link, and can provide more if you need. Thank you. BradConroy (talk) 18:26, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:REFB in order to correctly format a reference and please note that the reference does NOT back up the content it makes no mention of Conroy. Theroadislong (talk) 19:09, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Referencing the article 'Lari Azad'

Dear Theroadislong, I have added many references from reliable, third-party sources to support several facts about the subject. If that satisfies you, would you please consider deleting the tag declaring automatic deletion of the article, as I am unable to edit the source. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Roshan72 (talkcontribs) 11:50, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

great advice
I would like to thank you for you help on my first and only page, regarding Marco Avellaneda. Seeing as how it is my first article, your comments and advice have been taken into consideration. However, I must tell you that I am certainly not Avellaneda nor know him in any way. I am a finance student and recently read one of his books. After seeing that he did not already have a page, I decided to attempt to make one myself as a kind of anonymous appreciation of what I learned from his work. It is in no way a press release or an autobiography but after reading your language changes I certainly saw why you may have though this; I think it was the persuasive essay writer in me that embellished it! I will continue reviewing it to ensure it's as academically neutral as it should be.

In addition, I would humbly suggest that you reconsider what "appropriate sources" can consist of. I firmly believe that in this day and age twitter more than amply makes a good judge of a person's track record of stances in a wide array of topics. Moreover, I employed his CV which I found online and his official NYU profile as well as other material. The combination of these, I think have given me a very clear and relatively neutral (although certainly my respect for his intellect is difficult to remove from my own bias).

Please let me know what you think of my remarks and feel free to revisit the page itself next week as I will have compiled additional sources and reviewed the language further.

THANKS!

I'm afraid that Twitter is hardly ever considered a reliable source and his CV is of no use, since Wikipedia has essentially no interest in what anybody or any organisation says or wants to say about themselves, but is only interested in summarising what independent people have published about a subject. Transmed Holding - Review

Hello,

you have added promotional content and notability to the article.

May i know what are the exact words that you have considered as promotional so i can edit my article and fix it, as for notability all external links are acknowledged 3rd party and they are relevant to the article so which external link you see it as unfit?

Thank you for assisting me improve my first article. AyaJoumaa (talk) 10:26, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

the whole article reads like an advert and appears to have been mostly copied and pasted from here[1]. Theroadislong (talk) 10:55, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
and now it has been deleted as "Unambiguous advertising or promotion. Theroadislong (talk) 14:21, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Transmed Holding - Review

Hello,

I have rephrased and cited the paragraph in question. In addition, i have submitted an edit-request as it was advised from your side. So what are the next steps i have to do in order to make sure that my article complies with the guidelines.

Thank you for your assistance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AyaJoumaa (talkcontribs) 11:24, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

My Comments

The comment was based on the present status of Mr Beall's website. It is now void. The Wikipedia must be updated! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.125.133.169 (talk) 17:41, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to understand your reason for speedy deletion of my account and article.

As noted on the talk page of the article, I am presently working on inline citations and have specifically made a note in the teahouse to get help with adding those citations.

This is also not an autobiography, and it's extensively sourced and meets wikipedia's current content guidelines.

I can understand your concern that the article isn't finished yet, but that is also noted on the talk page.

I'd like you to consider helping to improve the article, and that the subject in question is well beyond "notable" as the dozens of citations point to, and further, not just at a local level, but at a national government level, and an international education level.

Can you please explain your process so I can better improve the article?

Klok kaos (talk) 11:39, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The speedy delete template is on your user page not the article you have created. Your user page contains content that is inappropriate, it should only contain info pertinent to editing at Wikipedia not links to other stuff. I assumed it was an autobiography because the photograph you have uploaded is a self portrait and you say it is your copyright? Theroadislong (talk) 14:16, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Robert J Rubel Article

The references to wikipedia are for the references section which include extensive ISBN numbers and external links as appropriate to the subject being referenced. As I understood what I read, this was typical for when a statement is made that has and also requires extensive sources to avoid clutter.

In the case of general statements such as "Has been teaching routinely since 2007" it makes more sense to list a reference list according to what i read than to list each and every reference individually, especially since not every single performance is covered by the media, and this is true of other articles for example, any popular band that has been touring since X date, isn't required to list a mass of references, but a reference listing showing a regular performance record. This is to comply with standard avoiding clutter.

Another way to do it would be to say he has performed X times with a citation for each one, but that's actually an inaccurate statement and would be improper reporting, because again, not every single performance or writing is covered by the media, but that doesn't mean we should assert that they don't exist.

Please be aware, I'm still relatively new to writing and editing at Wikipedia so the standards and practices might not be interpreted as exacting as you have come to understand them in your extensive experience.

I respect that you seem to be a well decorated contributor and welcome your thoughts on how to better format it.

All respects,
