The result of the discussion was: speedy delete. WP:G1 also applies. (non-admin closure) Marcocapelle (talk) 18:38, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Arkansas is not near a coastline, so it is not possible for there to be a populated coastal place in that state. Archer1234 (talk) 21:01, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Location of Arkansas in red. Note that Arkansas is not adjacent to a coastline.

The result of the discussion was: rename. — JJMC89(T·C) 23:08, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: The profession of teamster is separate from the trade union that this category is limited to cover. The scope of this category is limited to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters organization and those connected to it. TM 13:34, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - This is a no-brainer. I dare say it could be Speedied, since it brings the Category in line with the main article. Anomalous+0 (talk) 08:07, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Racehorses with Champion Parentage[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more categories. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the category's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was: delete (non-admin closure). Marcocapelle (talk) 11:08, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Being the son/daughter of a champion racehorse is not a defining characteristic in and of itself and does not make an article subject any more notable. It is not uncommon for male champion racehorses to have hundreds of foals, if not over 1,000. Also, this category appears to have not been updated in several years. If it were up to date, it would be overly broad to the point where most notable racehorses would be in it, since most sires of notable horses "won at least one really big race." In fact, it would be somewhat difficult to find any notable horses that didn't have a parent that "won at least one really big race." Aspening (talk) 04:51, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete. MER-C 09:39, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: It only has one member, the eponymous page, so I think that this category can be deleted, with its sole member upmerged to Category:Organoselenium compounds. Care to differ or discuss with me? The Nth User 01:37, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. I agree with the nomination. It’s not currently a useful categorization. ChemNerd (talk) 01:42, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Selenocyanates[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more categories. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the category's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was: delete. MER-C 09:39, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: The category only has one member, Potassium selenocyanate. The category's main article is not an actual article but merely a redirect to Potassium selenocyanate. Selenocyanic acid does not exist either. I think that this category can be deleted due to its small size, with its one member moved to Category:Selenium(−2) compounds. Care to differ or discuss with me? The Nth User 00:33, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
