GLAM/State Library of Queensland (Queensland)

The State Library of Queensland is working with Wikimedia Australia to find ways the State Library can add authoritative content to Wikipedia and encouraging Queensland Public Libraries to do the same. Getting Queensland communities to share their places, people and stories with the world.

The partnership started with a 50,000 image donation (see commons:Commons:State Library of Queensland) and now includes Wiki training in regional Queensland (see report of first year of training).

Exploring Wikipedia: Content Creation Training Manual

A step by step training manual has been developed by the State Library to help participants continue to use their Wikipedia editing skills in their own time.
