Administrator notation templates

This template is used to answer requests for permissions, especially the rollback user right.

::{{subst:RFPR|option}} ~~~~

The second (unnamed) parameter is optional. It can be omitted or used to specify the admin when marking a request as already done or the number of edits when declining due to inexperience.

 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. I see you just also applied for Pending Changes Reviewer. Let's see how you get on with that first and then we'll take another look again when you've made a few more edits. ::{{subst:RFPR|rvw}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|alsorequestedreviewer}} ~~~~
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. This is not what Rollback is for. Take a moment to read Wikipedia:Rollback and if that's what you would like to do, you can then check out the Counter Vandalism Unit to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|nrb}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|notrollback}} ~~~~

Hi, I like editing on Wikipedia, I spend more time here than on any social websites :P. Initially I used to do only minor edits related to referencing, adding a line etc, now I have started writing, expanding, formatting, reviewing and editing the articles for neutrality etc. I feel this will help in the process to fight for vandalism on Wikipedia. Thanks! Vivek.bekhabar (talk) 08:01, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Not done. We're happy to have you helping Wikipedia! However, Rollback is an anti-vandalism tool. Based on your editing history, it looks like you are not involved in anti-vandalism activities and have no particular demonstrated need for this tool in your work, nor experience with which to judge this request. Please see WP:ROLLBACK for more information on this user right and Wikipedia:Rollback#Requesting rollback rights for the qualifications. They're not high, but we do want to see experience in this area to demonstrate competence in identifying what is and isn't vandalism and properly warning vandals. If you are interested in becoming a vandal fighter, check out the Counter-Vandalism Unit for information on how to get involved! And if you choose to do so, don't hesitate to come back and re-request rollback after a couple weeks of vandal fighting! We would love to have you on the team. I see no problems in granting this request should you gain a bit of experience. Swarm we ♥ our hive 19:59, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Swarm, Thank you...got it! Vivek.bekhabar (talk) 09:36, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I mainly edit TV show pages, and these especially experience heavy vandalism because many people want to edit their favorite TV shows without understanding the policies governing Wikipedia. When people make many consecutive edits that end up deteriorating the page, it is up to editors like me to manually fix their mistakes, which takes time. I would like to have this right, so I can quickly restore pages damaged by vandals, in order to preserve the integrity of Wikipedia. Rswallis10 (talk) 03:26, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
