Template:User grieving

Propose merging Template:User grieving with Template:User Grieving short.

  • Keep in whatever fashion works best. I've seen this userbox in use before but it's not going to be a permanent addition to anyone's User page. The only way I think these two should be deleted is if they are redundant to other, similar template messages. But if that's not true, then I argue that we keep these and allow editors to signal when they are under duress. I don't think they are likely to be misused. Liz Read! Uw meta templates

Propose merging Template:Uw4im, Template:Uw4, Template:Uw3 and Template:Uw2 with Template:Uw.
Consolidation, standardization of messaging for a given policy/guideline violation. We can have the template output be different depending on the level of the warning (block, 4im, 4, 3, 2, 1).

As an example, we could have the uw-disrupt series have code that looks like this with a merge:

Template:FCPtopic

The effort behind this seems to have stalled soon after it launched, its last meaningful update was in 2006, and is since covered by Wikipedia:Translation. DB1729talk 23:39, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Mop

Propose merging Template:Mop with Template:Icon.
This template is a 16x16px admin mop icon, primarily used on Wikipedia:Missing Wikipedians. I propose merging it into Module:Icon/data (with the code admin & the alias mop - or the other way around), both for consistency - to have Wikipedia-related icons accessible from one template - and because it meets the scope at {{icon/doc}} as an inline image that is used in metapages. After merging, I propose turning {{mop}} into a wrapper template for {{icon|mop}} as the functional equivalent of an {{R from move}}; given the length of time a template at this name has existed and been used for, and given how many times it's called at WP:MWP.

  • Merge. All seem like worthwhile proposals to me. As the original creator of mop icon, no objections here, as long as it still functions as intended at WP:MWP with no accessibility issues for people with screen readers, then go for it. -- œ™

Template:Atlanta Falcons retired numbers

This template misrepresents the reality of the situation. Per the Atlanta Falcons, "The Atlanta Falcons organization doesn't officially retire jersey numbers, but considers certain player's jerseys worthy of being honored.
