The 2021–22 season will be the 122nd season in the existence of FC Barcelona and the club's 91st consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish football. In addition to the domestic league, FC Barcelona will participate in this season's editions of the Copa del Rey, the Supercopa de España, and the UEFA Champions League.

On 31 May, Barcelona announced the signing of Sergio Agüero from Manchester City F.C. on a free transfer.[1]

On 1 June, Barcelona announced the signing of Eric García from Manchester City on a free transfer.[2]
