The 2022 Canadian Premier League season will be the fourth season of the Canadian Premier League, the top level of Canadian soccer. Pacific FC are the defending champions, having beaten Forge FC in the 2021 final.[1]
Overview
Teams
The eight teams that competed in the 2021 Canadian Premier League season are expected to compete in this season. Future expansion teams in Vancouver and Saskatchewan are not expected to compete yet this year, but it is expected that this will be the last season with eight teams.[2][3]

The 2022 CPL–U Sports Draft will be held in early January. Each team will get two picks in the draft, for a total of 16 selections.[5]
