Shamshir (Template:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Shamshīr)[3] is a village in, and the capital, Shamshir Rural District of the Central District of Paveh County, Kermanshah province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,097 in 493 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,189 people in 592 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,222 people in 639 households.[2]
