Chenarud-e Shomali Rural District (Template:Lang-fa)[3] is in Chenarud District of Chadegan County, Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Faramush Jan.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,274 in 941 households.[4] There were 3,973 inhabitants in 965 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,534 in 985 households. The largest of its 29 villages was Faramush Jan, with 991 people.[2]
