Four by the Beach Boys by The Beach Boys was the band's first and only EP released in the United States (not counting the Holland bonus EP Mount Vernon and Fairway), in contrast with the several EPs released in the UK and elsewhere. It contained only songs from the album All Summer Long. The lead track "Little Honda" peaked at number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 while "Wendy" peaked at number 44.
Unlike on the sleeve, the record label itself identifies this record as 4-by the Beach Boys which is probably the right spelling since it was produced for a series, planned by Capitol Records[1], that finally included only one other E.P., 4 by the Beatles.
