V. Somasundaram

V. Somasundaram is an Indian politician and was a member of the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Kancheepuram constituency. He represented the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party.[1] He was the Handlooms and Textiles minister during AIADMK's previous governing period during 2001 to 2006.[citation needed]

The elections of 2016 resulted in his constituency being won by C. V. M. P. Ezhilarasan.[2]
