Swine Not? (2008) is a novel by Jimmy Buffett about a pig.[1] Buffett's friend, Helen Bransford, asked him to review her 25-page nonfiction manuscript describing her four years living at New York's Carlyle Hotel with her then-husband Jay McInerney, two children, and pet pig. Buffett asked her permission to expand it into a novel. Bransford provided the illustrations.
