Tauranga Moana are a grouping of Māori iwi (tribe) based in and around the Tauranga Harbour and Bay of Plenty. The grouping consists of Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Pūkenga and its hapu Ngāti Pūkenga ki Waiau, and Ngāti Ranginui.[1]
