Usher VIP is a men's fragrance promoted by Usher, created with perfumer Harry Fremont and Elizabeth Arden. This is the fifth fragrance from Usher, and went on sale in 2009.

Background

Usher, described it as the gentlemen’s scent, that would appeal to women,." [1][2] He described the fragrance is intended to be elegant, confident and sexy. The fragrance would have top notes, middle notes and bottom notes.[3]

Promotion

To promote the fragrance a commercial was filmed in the French Riviera with director Pierre Morel. The commercial featured Usher with a female companion being chased through Monte Carlo by the paparazzi. He also did a photoshoot for the fragrance in Los Angeles at the Sunset Towers, which was shot by photographer Mario Testing. [4]
