Mamata Thakur (born 15 May 1967), is an Indian politician. She has served as a member of the Lok Sabha since a 2015 by-election, representing Bangaon for the All India Trinamool Congress[1]

Career

Since March 2015 she has served as a member of the Standing Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment. She is a Matua Ma - a religious mother of the Matua Mahasangha community. She lives in the town of Thakurnagar.
