Protivín (Czech pronunciation: [ˈprocɪviːn]) is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 4,800 inhabitants.

Administrative parts

The town includes following parts: Chvaletice, Krč, Maletice, Milenovice, Myšenec, Protivín, Selibov, Těšínov and Záboří.

The town is well known for the Protivín Brewery, which produces a regional beer label Platan.
