Highland Township is one of seventeen townships in Grundy County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 288 and it contained 129 housing units.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.03 square miles (93.3 km2), of which 35.99 square miles (93.2 km2) (or 99.89%) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (or 0.11%) is water.[2]
