Katarina Živković (born 2 July 1989) is a Serbian pop star. Her debut studio album, Ludo srce (Template:Lang-en), was released in 2013.[1]

Early life

Živković was born in the Serbian city Leskovac in July 1989.[2] She finished high school in her hometown. Katarina showed interest for singing at a young age, she was a participant in a variety of cultural events for kids.

Reality TV

Aged 18, she became a contestant on the television singing contest Zvezde Granda. Despite the fact that she didn't make into the grand finale, her engagement in the final ten brought the opportunity to sign a contract with the record label Grand Production. This led to her first single Kad te ne volim (Template:Lang-en).

Živković became the first female winner of the Serbian reality TV show Farma in December 2010, beating out Marijan Rističević and Ekrem Jevrić.[3]

Music

After winning Farma, Živković began work on her first album as a solo artist. Ludo srce (Template:Lang-en), her debut studio album, was released through Grand on 13 April 2013.[4][5] The title song featured rappers DJ Buka and Sha.[6]

Also in April 2013, Živković's friend, Bosnian pop star Maya Berović, held her first concert in Belgrade. Živković and composer Damir Handanović were in the audience to show their support.[7]
