Acacia ancistrophylla is a shrub of the genus Acacia and the subgenus Plurinerves. It is native to an area in the Mid West and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia.[1] The species was first described in 1904.[2]
The prickly shrub typically grows to a height of 0.4 to 2.5 metres (1 to 8 ft). It blooms from August to October and produces yellow flowers.
There are three recognised varieties:
- Acacia ancistrophylla var. ancistrophylla
- Acacia ancistrophylla var. lissophylla
- Acacia ancistrophylla var. perarcuata
