Tashan-E-Ishq (International Title: Fire and Ice) is an Indian romantic drama television series created by Subhash Chandra under Essel Vision Productions that replaced Jodhaa Akbar to air from 10 August 2015.[2] The series starred Jasmin Bhasin, Zain Imam and Sidhant Gupta (later replaced by Naman Shaw) as Twinkle Taneja, Yuvraj Luthra and Kunj Sarna.[3] Set in the backdrop of Punjab, it revolved around their lives and relationship of love, hatred, betrayal and obsession.[4]

Plot

Twinkle Taneja and Yuvraj Luthra fall in love. Their mothers Leela Oberoi and Anita Raichand are rivals. It is revealed Yuvraj has been faking love and wants to destroy Twinkle to seek revenge on Anita. Twinkle chooses Leela over Yuvraj and marries Kunj Sarna.

Obsessed with Twinkle, Yuvraj tries to create problems in her married life and kill Kunj leading to Twinkle and Kunj getting closer. Twinkle saves Yuvraj's life on one such instance. He has a change of heart and decides to leave them alone. He also saves them from Anita.

Anita is sent to jail but Kunj still doubts Yuvraj's intentions. Twinkle finds out her pregnancy. Kunj meets with an accident and is declared dead. Unknown to all, Kunj is alive and has to undergone reconstructive surgery.

Kunj's mother Usha decides to marry Twinkle to Yuvraj. Kunj gets a new face and returns but is shocked to see Yuvraj with Twinkle. He goes back without meeting his family, believing Twinkle has easily forgotten him. He now plans to take revenge with his doctor friend Pallavi Chaddha's help.

Five years later

Twinkle has suffered miscarriage and is still married to Yuvraj. She loves Kunj and is unaware of Yuvraj's unconditional love for her. Kunj assumes the name Rocky Singh and becomes a successful boxer. Twinkle and Yuvraj now suspect that Rocky might be Kunj.

Kunj and Pallavi make a fake MMS of Twinkle seducing him before Twinkle finally confronts him and narrates her sorrows after he was declared dead. She tells him about her miscarriage because of which they have lost their child, why she married Yuvraj and their marriage is fake.

Kunj breaks down and tries to win Twinkle's trust back. This leaves her confused about who she should choose. She decides to spend some time alone, flees to Mussoorie and meets a carefree Sonia. Kunj and Yuvraj follow Twinkle, individually trying to win her heart.

Twinkle decides to study further and demands some space. Yuvraj keeps a constant eye on Twinkle; Kunj genuinely helps her by secretly helping her get admission into a college. Yuvraj disguises himself as Jassi and befriends Twinkle in order to stay close to her.

As luck has it, Twinkle and Kunj get closer which Yuvraj and Pallavi unlike. Yuvraj begins plotting against Kunj and tries to instigate Twinkle against him. She professes her belief in Kunj, upsetting Yuvraj further. After many difficulties, Kunj and Twinkle decide to remarry upsetting Pallavi and Yuvraj.

Pallavi pretends committing suicide to stop the wedding but is killed by her servants for money. Twinkle and Kunj are blamed for the murder but Yuvraj and a girl named Simple Singh work to prove the couple's innocence and fall in love. The show ends happily with marriage of Yuvraj-Simple and Kunj-Twinkle.
