Uppaluri Subbbaraya Sharma is an Indian film character actor, and comedian known for his exclusive works in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre, and Television.[1][2] In a film career spanning more than forty years, Sharma played a variety of characters.[citation needed]
In 1989 he received the Tri-Annual Best Actor for A Play Onteddu Bandi written by L. B. Sriram.[3][4][5] Sharma is best known for his acting in works such as Srivariki Premalekha, Bava Bava Panneeru, Yamaleela, Mayalodu, Shubha Lagnam, Matrudevobhava, Gangotri, Magadheera, Top Hero, Dharma Chakram, Manasantha Nuvve, Baahubali: The Beginning, and Rudhramadevi.[3][4]
