WBAJ (890 AM) is a daytime only radio station licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to the community of Blythewood, South Carolina, but targeting the nearby city of Columbia. The station is licensed to transmit on 890 kHz with 50 kWs of power during the day, but also transmits 8.5 kWs during critical operating hours during winter months. Both signals are non-directional. WLS in Chicago, Illinois is the dominant Class A station on 890 AM.

History

The station signed on with its religious format on October 8, 1999. It is owned by Linda de Romanett, through licensee Bible Clarity, a Seventh-day Adventist organization.
