The Berkeley Beacon (founded 1947) is Emerson College's student-run newspaper. The paper is published weekly each Thursdays during the fall and spring semesters of Emerson College's school year.
In 2012, the Beacon redesigned its website, making it the first college newspaper website with a responsive design.[1]
