Angie Motshekga (born 2 October 1955) is a South African politician and the Minister of Basic Education since 2009.[2]
She has been a lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand and at the Soweto College of Education. She has also been president of the African National Congress Women's League.
Education
She holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in educational science from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits). She has also acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of the North and a Higher Diploma in Education.[3]
